Two members of the Coastguard team visited Charmouth Primary School today at the invitation of Year 5 pupils. The children had an opportunity to look at all the rescue equipment carried in the 4*4 vehicle and also to practice their VHF radio skills. The children had diligently prepared a number of questions about the role of a coastguard and beach safety in general. The Coastguard team would like to extend our thanks to the pupils and the staff for making the visit worthwhile.
