2009 Incident #10 29.03.09 1518BST

During a routine patrol, the coastguard truck was flagged down by three male teenagers running down Stonebarrow Lane, Charmouth  One of the teenagers had received a 5cm knife wound to his upper arm and was bleeding profusely.  The casualty was treated for shock and the bleeding controlled whilst a land ambulance was called.  At Bridport Hospital, the casualty received six stitches and and was able to return home safe and well that afternoon.
