2009 Incident #42 01.10.09 1356BST #4958

The IRT was asked to attend the arrival of a local dive vessel at Lyme Regis harbour.  One of the four divers had been airlifted by the Coastguard rescue helicopter suffering from the effects of the ‘bends’.  The diver was taken to the decompression chamber in Poole.  The symptoms materialised after the diver had successfully completed two dives on a wreck to the south west of Lyme Regis.
