2010 Incident #32 24.06.10 1423UTC #2545

The IRT was tasked to assist the Dorset Police and the RNLI search for the same despondent 32 year old female that was rescued from a beach in Lyme Regis two weeks ago.  This time she had called 999 whilst up to her neck in water.  She was located in the water on Church Cliff beach.   The lifeboat crew managed to successfully recover the casualty into the  the boat and she was returned to the safety of the lifeboat station.  The casualty, from Somerset, was seen by a paramedic and then taken to Dorchester Hospital for further treatment.
