2010 Incident #65 27.10.10 1503UTC #5193

The Initial Response Team, the IRT, was tasked to assist South West Ambulance with the rescue of a 40-year-old female.  The casualty had fallen on the rock armour below Gun Cliff, Lyme Regis.  The paramedics determined that the injuries to her back were serious and requested the help of the Coastguard.   The casualty was airlifted, ‘medevacced’ to Dorset County Hospital by Coastguard helicopter, Rescue 106.
